Alanya’s landmark Blue Flag beach with fine golden sand, a few minutes’ walk from the hotel.
Cleopatra Beach stretches for about two kilometres along the western side of the Alanya peninsula and is known for its fine, pale sand. Legend has it that Mark Antony gave this shore to Cleopatra, which is how it took its name.
The sea stays shallow well away from the shore, which makes it comfortable for families with children. Sunbed and umbrella rentals, showers, changing cabins, cafés and water-sports stands line the promenade.
At sunset the peninsula and the castle form a silhouette just east of the beach, and an uninterrupted seafront promenade runs the whole length for evening walks.
